John Giammona, Ph.D.

Dr. John Giammona has more than 25 years of management, operations, business development, product sales, and technical consulting experience spanning the biopharma and life science industries. John serves as VP of Biopharma Partnerships at Tasso Inc., a medical device company specializing in patient-centric blood collection technology. Prior to Tasso, John was VP Market Development & Medical Affairs for both Shield Therapeutics and Acasti Pharma, Chief Business Development Officer at AMR LLC, VP and General Manager of the CRO division of Comprehensive Neuroscience.  John earned his doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin, College of Pharmacy (Pharmacology & Toxicology Division). He holds undergraduate and graduate engineering degrees from the Colorado School of Mines. He has served on two institutional review boards.
